About the Role

Disability Support Workers with YNA deliver exceptional care backed by an experienced team. We have options for DSWs to work in the community to support those living with a disability. The role, based in Yorke Peninsula, South Australia is an ongoing roster for 1:1 24 hour roster. 1 week on and 1 week off. Shifts will be AM 0700-1500hours and PM 1500 hours-2200 hours (active) with passive overnight shifts 2200-0700 hours. You will be required to assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication supervision, light housekeeping duties, transporting and social support. We’ll back you every step of the way and always consider your preferences to get the best experience as an agency team member.

What you will bring to the Role

  • Certificate 3 and/or 4 in Disability
  • A minimum 1 year paid experience
  • NDIS Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  • Current National Police check with no disclosable outcomes
  • Current Manual Handling Certificate
  • Current Senior First Aid and Basic Life Support Certificate
  • Current Working With Children’s Check (WWCC SA)
  • Current Medication Competency Certificate
