A skilled Cook or Chef working in the Regional and Remote Health sector?
In this role you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and appealing meals that meet Aged Care dietary standards.
- Plan, prepare, and present meals to a high standard, including specialised diets (e.g. supplements, texture-modified foods)
- Assist with plating, service, and meal distribution
- Conduct and record temperature checks for food, refrigerators, and freezers
- Uphold kitchen safety and food hygiene practices
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of kitchen equipment and workspaces
- Manage stock rotation and place food supply orders as needed

What you will bring to the role
- Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a residential aged care setting
- National Police Check (within the last 12 months)
- Evidence of 2025 flu vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination
- Availability for a range of shifts including mornings, afternoons, and on-call
- NDIS clearance
