RESET-M – Re-Entry Program for Midwives

Are you a passionate midwife who has had a hiatus from clinical midwifery for less than five years? Are you looking at ways to get back into midwifery clinical practice but don’t feel confident to jump straight into clinical shifts?

YNA has partnered with Flinders University to develop a structured and supported re-entry program for midwives who need to grow their clinical currency and confidence. Enrolling in the RESET-M (RE-Engaging through Supportive Education and Training for Midwives) course will allow you to upskill your theoretical and clinical knowledge and consolidate your clinical skill through facilitated paid clinical shifts.

About the Role

YNA will back you every step of the way to upskill through the unique RESET-M program. Your supported learning will enable you to provide up to date, safe and holistic midwifery care, applying excellent clinical practice within a safe environment.

You’ll have the opportunity to work clinically across antenatal, birth suite and postnatal settings during the RESET-M course.

Upon completion of RESET-M, our YNA team will work with your preferences to book midwifery shifts suited to your skillset and preferred work settings. YNA can offer all shift types and up to full-time hours.

What you will need prior to enrolling with RESET-M

•         AHPRA registration

•         A passion for delivering exceptional healthcare & strong communication skills

•         Current clinical competencies (YNA can support you to complete)

•         Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)

•         Working with Children Check (WWCC)
